Gettysburg July 4-7, 2013

The 150th Gettysburg Anniversary National Civil War Battle Reenactment event, reenacts the single largest and one of the most pivotal military engagements ever fought on American soil. I attended the event which took place just outside of Gettysburg over four days, on July 4, 5, 6, & 7, 2013. Thousands of reenactors from across the nation and around the world  staged the battle reenactments for this 150th commemoration of these civil war battles. I spent 5 days at Gettysburg and met some very interesting folks from all over the country. I interviewed 9 people about their involvement which will become part of an installation for my solo exhibition at Emory & Henry University (In Emory, Virginia) in January, 2014.
